                                  (Malaysia Medical Tourism, http://www.ticketmed.com/countries/malaysia)

Malaysia is one of the top Medical Tourism destinations in the world today. The Malaysian health care system, in charge of the public and private medical sectors, is often compared to some of the best health care systems in western world, including the US.

The Malaysian government realizes the importance of its health care system and consequently devotes a large portion of state funding towards improving it. Thanks to this resolution, substantial funds are being used annually to renovate existing hospitals, build and equip new hospitals, build more health-clinics and improve medical training and communication methods between doctors and medical institutions. Malaysia has a high number of private hospitals operating in the country, most of them in urban areas, which all are fully equipped with the latest technologies and practice the most advanced medicine, making Malaysia a desired health tourism destination.

Another sign of trust in the Malaysian medical system is the large number of international medical conferences held annually in the country's capital, Kuala Lumpur, including some of largest medical congresses in the world, such as the World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics, FIGO, and the International Congress of Infectious Diseases.

Malaysia is not only a recommended medical tourism destination, but also a much desired vacationing destination. Tourists have so many options traveling to Malaysia as they can relax on Malaysia's beautiful beaches, take a more adventurous approach and tour its countryside filled with ethnic history; enjoy the modern capital, Kuala Lumpur, or just plan a romantic and secluded "getaway".
